Do you want more energy for a better way of being and living? Learning more about each month’s planetary movements and gain celestial inspiration to support your daily life.
Astrology gives us a sense of perspective and a means of gaining awareness on our lives. It can help us obtain confidence and feel more grounded in ourselves by confirming the intimations, feelings, and inner knowledge that we may have been afraid to express or to even trust. It allows us to connect with our inner strengths and to use the power of thought, will and creative vitality to shape a better way of being and living.
We invite you – every first Wednesday of each month – to gather, connect and get inspired by looking at the sky. We will begin each gathering with a gentle warm up, followed by a visualisation of a topical planet or sign, to then gather around the chart of the day and discover how the sky will unfold during the current month.
Madeleine, founder of Astrology for Artists, will guide us through each month’s planetary movements, aspects, phases of the Moon, retrograding planets and much more. She wholeheartedly wants everyone to learn how to be aware of the energy available in the sky and to use it in the best way possible to find calm, assurance and growth.
Please wear comfortable clothes (there might be a little mat-free, gentle movement), a notepad, pen and an open mind.
Madeleine Botet de Lacaze
Madeleine Botet de Lacaze is an Argentine-born performance artist and astrologer based in London. After studying and developing astrology and performance as two separate practices she decided to integrate them creating Astrology for Artists. She believes that everyone is an artist and our lives our most important creative act. She aims to communicate and reflect upon what makes us creative and what makes us feel alive; how do we connect with our vital expressive pulse?
She studied astrology at CASA 11 in Buenos Aires and at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London. She also did an MA in Performance Art at Wimbledon College of Art focusing on the body’s relationship to identity, belonging and presence; creating intimate interdisciplinary performances that question our perception of corporality. She has performed internationally at festivals such as Spill, In Between Time, Buzzcut, Sacred, Performatorium and Steakhouse Live. She has worked with artists such as Marina Abramovic at the Serpentine Gallery, Ron Athey at Fierce Festival and she has been mentored by Franko B, Ron Athey, and Tim Etchells who she is currently assisting.
