From May until September come and join us at our new Rooftop Yoga Picnic every Sunday morning at Dalston Roof Park.
Each week will be hosted by a different Secret Yoga Club teacher for an hour long yoga session in this secret little rooftop hotspot.
After class you're invited to sit down to enjoy a delicious breakfast picnic cooked by a specially selected SYC chef.
In the case of bad weather - we will be able to move the class to a beautiful bright space just downstairs from the rooftop so you won't miss out if the heavens open!
Lucy’s Yoga journey began many years ago on a rooftop in India and she has never looked back. After studying in India, she trained with Max Strom in America, whom she now assists on his international workshops in London. Lucy teaches Vinyasa flow yoga with significant emphasis on the breath and its healing qualities.
Her multi-level classes embrace each student, honouring their current stage in their practice. Her classes work on strengthening, opening and creating flexibility in the body. Safety, healthy alignment and a yoga that creates stillness and peace are principles at the core of Lucy’s classes, which are non-dogmatic and non-competitive encouraging an open heart and a quiet mind.

Nestled amongst Hackney’s Victorian buildings and overlooking London’s skyscrapers, Dalston’s only rooftop garden is an opportunity to relax, eat, drink, dance and see the London landscape differently.
Framed by the city skyline, our rooftop oasis transforms what was once forgotten space into a traditional English Garden, plushly turfed and brimming with herbs, hops and flowers to be put to good use in this year’s food and drink offerings.
Inspired by Robert Hammond’s New York High Line, the DRP began as a collection of allotments cared for by a group of local volunteer gardeners, with a pop-up bar and a programme curated by a team of Bootstrap staff and tenants who organised music and film nights they would like to attend themselves.
