SYC + WONDER&WATER

TUESDAY 27TH JUNE

7 – 8.30 PM

WONDER&WATER EXHIBITION,
49 GREEK STREET, SOHO, LONDON, W1D 4EG

From the 15th – 27th of June, Wonder&Water is taking place on Soho’s Greek St. Artist, Tanya Kazeminy, has curated a beautiful, immersive exhibition, exploring our connection with the worlds water, through each other and ourselves.

SYC has kindly been asked to take part in Wonder&Water’s event series. In keeping with the exhibition our founder, Gabrielle Hales, will be guiding you through a flowing yoga practice, leading into a fluid crystal bowl sound bath. Exploring the inner self through movement, meditation and sound.

GABRIELLE HALES

Gabrielle started practising Iyengar yoga in 2008. She quickly fell in love with the practise and ended up leaving her job to travel round India for six months exploring different practises and teachers. She completed her teacher training in November 2012.

She has been inspired by the Jivamukti founders Shannon Gannon and David Life, and other senior teachers such as Emma Henry and Rachel Middleton. She now teaches full time and has continued her studies with Kino McGregor, David Swenson and Elena Brower.

Her classes are slow but strong flow. She likes to work on the breath and give people time to refine and explore each posture. Sequences are thoughtful and her playlists are chosen with care to complement the tone of the class.

WONDER&WATER

Wonder&Water is a genuinely cool experience. It is a magical installation of 50 beautiful water films projected throughout the gallery.  Artist, Tanya Kazeminy, created the exhibition to offer an oasis of peace and stillness within the heart of London.

Wonder&Water’s soul purpose is to make people happier, more connected to themselves and ultimately more loving in their worlds.  You can drop in for a few minutes or a few hours of calm.  However long you stay, you won’t want to leave. Feeling this peaceful is addictive.

Within the exhibition there are a series of Help Heal The World Workshops.  They will combine Yoga, meditation and powerful teachings about how we can all help heal the world, very simply, through love.

The exhibition is free.
